Research Internships

1. Program's details
Duration: from 1 to 10 months
Academic calendar:
fall semester: September - early February
spring semester: February - end of June (internships may last until the end of August)
Language of instruction: English / French
2. fees and scholarships
If the internship is longer than 3 months, the students receive the monthly payments:
- €575/month in the usual case and that can be combined with the Erasmus grant (approximately €250/month)
- €850/month in case of Erasmus «Credit Mobility Program»
- €1000/month in the case of the University of Lorraine Excellence Grants (application deadline: 26/05/2023 )
3. admission requirements
Academic status: at the moment of the application, you should be enrolled in an officially recognized and accredited higher education institution (at least in the 3rd year of Bachelor's studies).
Academic background: your academic major should be in the relevant fields relevant to the internship calls: Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science and Mathematics, Geosciences etc. Your average grade should be at least 12/20 (Good).
Language requirements: B2 level of English or French
The applicants should meet the specific application requirements of the chosen internship call.
4. how to apply
1. Call application:
Read carefully the internship call you would like to apply for and make sure that you meet the application requirements.
OR
1(a) Open application:
Define the research lab you would like to join for an internship and the project/research topic of your desired internship.
2. Call application:
Submit the required application documents specified by the chosen internship call.

2(a) Open application:
Submit the following application documents to info@minesnancy.com:
- Your CV and a cover letter written in English or French. The cover letter should explain which research lab you would like to join for an internship and why; what is your research proposal (topic or project you would like to work on)
- A copy of your recent Diploma and current academic transcripts
- A copy of your identity document (passport)
- Application deadline: April 30
3. Your file will be evaluated by the academic jury which will accept or not your application.
4. If your application is accepted, you will be invited to an online interview with the prospective scientific supervisors.
5. In case of a successful interview, you will receive an Acceptance letter via email and will be instructed on further organizational procedures.
